Eli Lammers is from Chugiak, Alaska, and brings a deep background in cross country skiing, having trained and competed with Alaska Nordic Racing for seven years and spending time with the Alaska Pacific University junior program. Growing up in one of the strongest ski communities in the country, he developed a strong foundation in discipline, teamwork, and high-level training environments.
After racing during the 2024–25 season, Eli remained with the CMU Cross Country Ski Team in 2025–26 as a Student Team Manager and wax technician, where his impact became truly invaluable. His contributions behind the scenes were extraordinary, playing a key role in race-day preparation, ski service, and overall team performance. Beyond that, he naturally stepped into a mentorship role, helping guide teammates and bringing a strong sense of cohesion and culture to the group.
His presence elevates the entire team, making him an essential part of its success both on and off the course.
