Biography
Jane Malouf is a sophomore from Anchorage, Alaska, studying Business Administration with an emphasis in Energy Management. Growing up in Alaska helped shape her love of the outdoors, including trail running, camping, packrafting, climbing, and, of course, skiing. Since coming to CMU, the cross country ski team has become one of the highlights of her college experience, especially the combination of training, racing, traveling, and being part of a close team. Jane enjoys pushing herself in training, improving as a skier, and all of the team shenanigans that come with the season.
Jane races skate, classic, sprint, and distance events. One of her proudest accomplishments last season was stepping into race distances she had never competed in before and discovering how much she could improve by challenging herself. This season, she is focused on making her technique smoother and more efficient while continuing to see what is possible as a racer.
