Ski Waxing Fundraiser

Get your skis ready for winter.
On October 24, the CMU Cross Country Ski Team will offer ski waxing service during the Nordic-only Ski Swap at Colorado Discover Ability in Grand Junction. Service is provided by experienced CMU athletes and coaches, including national championship-winning members of the program.
Wax service is available by suggested donation, with proceeds directly supporting team training, travel and competition.
REGULAR WAX SERVICE
$30 suggested donation / pair
We clean and prepare the ski base, apply Swix universal hot wax, then scrape and brush the ski for a clean, ready-to-ski finish.
PERFORMANCE WAX SERVICE
$60 suggested donation / pair
Includes base cleaning and preparation, Swix HS performance hot wax, scraping and thorough brushing for skiers looking for a higher-performance finish.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
How it works
- Reserve your wax service in advance. Service capacity is limited and reservations help us plan the day.
- Bring clean, dry cross country skis to the Nordic-only Ski Swap on October 24 at Colorado Discover Ability in Grand Junction.
- We will inspect your skis before beginning. If the base needs repair or other work beyond normal cleaning and waxing, we will let you know before proceeding.
- Suggested donations are per pair of skis and directly support the CMU Cross Country Ski Team.
