The second clinic gave participants hands-on experience with ski waxing and maintenance. The team demonstrated how to clean, wax, and care for skis to improve glide and longevity — valuable knowledge for both racers and recreational skiers.

Both clinics were free and open to the public, led by CMU student-athletes, Griffin Gracey and Greta Bochenek, and the coach, who brought national-level experience and a shared passion for expanding cross country skiing opportunities in western Colorado. The events drew strong community interest and helped build excitement for the ski season.
