Tax-Deductible Donations
All donations are tax-deductible as permitted by law. The team operates under the CMU Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donors may be provided with tax-deductible receipts upon request.
1. What We Accept
We accept only Nordic (cross-country) equipment and gear:
- Skate skis, classic skis, Nordic touring skis - in good working order
- Boots, poles, bindings (NNN, Prolink, or SNS)
- Waxing tools, ski bags, rollerskis, waxes, and accessories
- Nordic outerwear and clothing
2. How It Works
- You set your own prices for each item you bring.
- The CMU Cross Country Ski Team will handle the sale and collect payment.
- The team retains a 20% commission on all items sold.
3. Donations
If you prefer, you may donate your equipment outright to the team. All proceeds from the sale of donated gear will go directly to support the CMU Cross Country Ski Team.
4. Unsold Items
- Unsold items must be picked up by the end of the event (see times above).
- Any items left behind after the event will be considered donated to the team.
5. Payment
- Sellers will be paid within 10 days after the event for any sold items.
- Payment will reflect your sale total minus the 20% commission.
6. Liability
The organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
